SURFACE
PREPARATION: Remove all loose dirt, dust, heavy accumulations
of bitumen, and foreign material from the roof with brooms,
water, air, vacuum, and any combination necessary for sufficient
cleaning.
For application
on metal roof surfaces, all rust or loose coating should be
removed by wire brushing.
Inspect
roof to locate and repair all defects.
Cover
drains and vents to prevent clogging and interior damage.
APPLICATION:
Stir Aluminum Roof Coating thoroughly before and occasionally
during the application process, using a mechanical mixer for
a minimum of 3 minutes.
Ensure
that all surfaces are dry before commencing the application.
Brush
or spray apply a uniform coating onto the roof surface.
LIMITATIONS:
Do not apply in areas which pond water. Do not apply to surfaces
that are dusty, dirty or moist. Do not apply to new asphalt
roofs less than three months old, asphalt cutback coatings
less than six months old, or to emulsion coatings less than
30 days old. Do not apply in rain or if rain is expected before
coating is dry (minimum 4 hours).
